Beginner Goalkeeper Trainings: Youngest age groups of goalkeeper training offered at Utah Storm. Training emphasis on proper save techniques and body coordination movements in a fun and safe environment. Training will be held 1x per week in the fall and spring seasons.
Intermediate Goalkeeper Trainings: Goalkeepers are introduced to a more extensive goalkeeper environment. The primary training focus is on high repetitions and technique first, save second. The tactical aspects of the position are taught through proper decision making, as well as some physical fitness, strength, and psychological aspects. Communication and organization become a larger role of the goalkeepers at this level. Training will be held 2x per week in the fall and spring seasons, one training focusing on agility, strength and athleticism specific to the goalkeeper position.
Advanced Goalkeeper Trainings: Focus in training is perfecting the technical aspects of their skillset and making the save. Tactical, physical and psychological aspects become a larger part of training at this level. Detailed communication and organization are of high importance of goalkeepers at this level. Training will be held 2x per week in the fall and spring seasons, one training focusing on agility, strength and athleticism specific to the goalkeeper position.
